On August 17, 2014, I lost my father James Brian Fagan Sr. to a long term Cardiac illness. My parents Brian and Tyloo Fagan have been married for 56 years.  He was a dedicated husband and father, to the twins, Scott and John, and Jimi. My father was a Veteran Green Beret in the US Army during the start of Vietnam, he serve 4 years in the military mostly in Laos.  He was a self employed painting contractor all his life.  In his younger years, his passion was martial arts. As time pasted and he mellowed:  Sailing and Art became his infatuation often painting sailboats.  He and my Mom retired to New Orleans, to enjoy the music and the artistic life style it had to offer.  Shortly after, my father became ill. After years of multiple hospitalizations and growing medical bills it became harder and harder to live off their retirement. Unfortunately, now my Mom bears the burden of the house and all the expenses from all the medical treatments. Times are hard but we will prevail. It is at this time, we ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.

We share comfort in knowing Brian is no longer suffering.  We send thoughts of sympathy and support to Tyloo as she begins her journey without Brian.  It is at this time, we ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.

We share comfort in knowing Brian is no longer suffering.  Our thoughts of sympathy and support are with Tyloo Now & Always!

He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Green Beret and was honorably discharged in 1963. He was a self employed painting contractor for 53 years before retiring to Covington LA.

He was the President and member of the Randolph Rotary Club. Sailing and Art were his passions.  Brian is predeceased by his parents: Kenneth and Lillian Fagan and his sister Lynn McEniry

He is survived by: his loving wife Tyloo, brothers Ken wife Barbara, brother John, sons; Scott, John wife Kelly, and Jimi. His grandchildren: William James, John Jr., Rachael, Dylan, and his great-granddaughter Meadow, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service being held on September 13, 2014 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mount Arlington Civic Center Fern Place Mount Arlington, NJ 07856. Behind the Police Station
